Welcome to Lucidity's

Champion Cavaliers Bred for Health, Type & Temperament

I am an exhibitor and breeder of Cavalier King Charles Spaniels in Vancouver, BC, Canada (close to Seattle, Washington). I'm a member of the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC), Cavalier Club of BC and the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel club of USA (CKCSC, USA). I've been showing Cavaliers since 2012. Over the years, I have bred 9 champions/grand champions: Juno (Mys. Ch. Lucidity's Defying Gravity), her half brother, Pippin (Mys. Ch. Lucidity's Earendil), Sirius (Thai Ch. Lucidity's War Admiral) and his litter sister, Eilish (GCh. Lucidity's Zenyatta), who is my first homebred Grand Champion, Riker (GCh. Lucidity's League of Legends) and his litter sister, Poesy (GCh. Lucidity's Rise of a Legend), Darcy (Ch. Lucidity's Galactica), Valentine (Ch. Lucidity's Ada Lovelace),who is from my first third generation Lucidity's litter and Icy (GCh. Lucidity's Blazing Ice), who is from my second Papillon litter ever. Icy is also my first homebred dog to have won 2 regular group placements, with a Group 2 and Group 4 at only 11 months of age. To date, I've titled a total of 17 dogs - 12 Cavaliers and 5 Papillons. Some of them have multiple titles.

We're a small, hobby "kennel" - we do not breed much because keeping numbers down is very important to us. We believe that each and every single one of our dogs deserves quality one-on-one time and attention, and we NEVER keep any of our dogs or puppies in wire-bottom cages, ever. We do not have any kennels and our Cavaliers all live in our home as members of the family and are allowed into every nook and cranny of our house. They sleep on our sofas, laze in our beds, and are free to come and go as they please. Showing and breeding Cavaliers is just a hobby for me - I have a full time job outside of this hobby!

PUPPIES

Our dogs are all taught basic and some advanced commands, and are all house-trained. Some of our dogs are co-owned and live with very good friends who have the same values as us - they treat their dogs as members of the family as well.

We breed primarily to obtain our next generation of show dogs, and hence, only have a few litters a year. We never compromise on quality, health and temperament, and only our dogs that have passed health tests done by board-certified specialists are bred. Most of our dogs are also shown and titled prior to breeding.

Our puppies are available to selected pet or show homes, and pet quality puppies are not available for breeding purposes. We do NOT place puppies with backyard breeders or puppy millers and all of our pet puppies must be spayed or neutered at 12-18 months old. Our boys are also NOT available at public stud. If you would like more information, or are interested in acquiring a puppy in the future, please check here or fill out the contact form here
