Went to Boathouse (at TTDI) on Saturday with a good friend of mine for brunch (was mainly there to finish an editorial about dog friendly places for work), and decided to bring BOTH the dogs this time. Usually, I only bring one because it's a hassle to have to watch the both of them... but since Lyra behaved so well the last time I brought her out to a restaurant, I brought them both this time! And guess what? They were such ANGELS! Even I was impressed. Everyone else was, too; including the servers. They sat nicely on the couch and did not make a sound. Just sat there and eyed my food, obviously... luckily, I had lots of luncheon meat on my plate that I did not fancy, so the dogs got to eat all of it. ;)
Just plonked them there and said STAY... so they did!
After that, we decided to bring the dogs to Central Park (the one opposite 1 Utama) since the weather was nice, cloudy and NOT HOT!
There weren't many people there, so I took of their leashes and just let them walk around to explore. Don't worry, they're really really good with recall (especially Lyra).
Cadence ALMOST jumped in!! But when I yelled at him, he thought better of it and came back like a good boy. =)
Met some kids who were doing cosplay... the dogs weren't very happy with the girl in the light blue wig (Cadence barked at her when she went near him).. LOL. Maybe they were suspicious of the hair colour?
And... Lyra found some birds that she decided to chase. LOL. The dogs LOVE chasing birds.. and squirrels... and cats...
Anyway, I'm thinking we'll make this a weekly routine!! Love that the park is empty on Saturday afternoons, cos it's usually packed in the mornings and evenings. What can I say? I'm antisocial like that. And the dogs sure have lots of fun running around off leash instead of being confined by the 5 ft leads.
