Yesterday I brought the dogs to the Waterfront at Desa Parkcity to hang out with other Cavaliers! They had lots of fun meeting other dogs and Lyra even got to play fetch in a huge grassy field as opposed to our teeny garden. It was SO hot though, so I tried not to make her run too much--she doesn't know when to stop! She's always just GO GO GO and then finally she collapses because she's just too damn hot.
Cadence on the other hand, reverted to his old ways back in Canada when I brought him to the park and all he would do was EAT THE SOIL (he also used to eat grass like he was a cow!!). I do not know what is wrong with this dog! He eats soil like it's some sort of delicacy. Argh. So as a punishment, he got his leash tied to a tree. Yup. Serves him right for eating crap!
Here's a great video of Lyra playing fetch with her friend, Mocha (who is also actually her cousin):
Got to meet cute little Bella (who used to be called Chloe) again!! Miss this dog so much--isn't she just the cutest?
She's the TEENIEST but most adorable Cavalier ever (everybody always jokes that she's some sort of new Cavalier breed, lol). She only weighs something like 3.5 kilos! She makes Lyra look like a giant standing next to her (Lyra is about 5.2 kilos / 11.5lbs).
Anyway, without further ado, here are more pictures of the dogs:
