Marvel has really started to fit in already, and his favourite past times now include: snatching toys from Lyra, humping her, wrestling with Cadence, and throwing whiny fits when he is in his crate. He's gotten so much better walking on lead though, I think he will be great at tomorrow and Sunday's shows! He's come such a loooonngg way. The first week, he absolutely refused to walk on lead and would lay down on the floor every single time I put it on him. I ended up having to drag him on the floor with all his legs splayed out. HAHAHA. My friend said he looked like a piece of rug on the floor! So, I made him wear the lead on for a couple of hours a day, just dragging around... and now he's great!
Got around getting more pictures of him playing yesterday since he will be going home on Sunday. Gonna miss the little fella! He is such a lovable little guy. Really sweet, and mild-tempered. And just the opposite of stubborn Lyra! He is very obliging... except when it comes to eating. He does not eat! So picky with his food.
Anyway, big show weekend tomorrow and Sunday! 4 shows all together, and for the first time I have 2 dogs to show.. seems like the Toy Group judging and the Minor Puppy judging might clash, so I may not be able to handle Marvel. Hopefully that doesn't happen, though. And hope he doesn't get stage fright and decide to lay on the floor! That would seriously be embarrassing.
Lyra is Lyra as usual--got boiled chicken this time around, instead of dried treats. Hope that entices both dogs MORE! Tomorrow's shows are the Crufts Qualification FCI Show (Judged by Paul Stantion) and the the AKU show (judged by Dinky Santos). As luck would have it, our groups are only being judged after lunch, so that's awesome! Am gonna have to give both dogs a bath tonight and a nice blowdry. Wish us luck!!
