I decided to go ahead and make the drive up to Penang on April 22nd for the MKA show! Went to drop off the forms last weekend, so it's back to training again... I've been slacking off the past couple of weeks--been so lazy to train Lyra but at least she hasn't forgotten everything I taught her, lol.
We'll be leaving the day before, on the 21st and will be bunking with my cousins who live in Tanjung Bungah. The show will be in Komtar, so if you're gonna be there, let me know!
In other news, my mom finally got around making a snood for Lyra... and.. she absolutely hated it. It was such a riot though, putting it on her and then laughing my head off. Her entire face looked squishy and she kept trying to take it off. Hilarious!
Tried it on Cadence and his reaction was even funnier!! He just stared at me and refused to move. He froze right there on the floor and made his "holy crap what is this?!!" look.. HAHAHA.
Sorry about the quality of the pictures... iPad cameras are horrendous!! They might as well not even put a camera on that thing.
Luckily, I also managed to get nice shots of the dogs with my DSLR. I think I can finally say that Lyra has at last grown out of her puppy uglies!! Man, was she an ugly puppy.. lol.. I never really realized it, but looking back at her old photos from 5-8 months, I'm like holy pepperoni, that is one ugly duckling. Luckily, that ugly ducking grew up into quite a pretty big duck, hahahah (she's not quite at the "swan" stage yet).
The featherings on her ears have really grown! Guess feeding her eggs, vitamin E, fish oil, and spraying her ears with mink oil conditioner has worked wonders.
And not to be outdone, here's Cadence... looking cute:
