I've been terrible at updating, and for that, I apologize! Hopefully, I'll have more time to update this year. Fingers crossed.
Monroe was at his first show ever back in November, and he did so well! So damn proud of my little boy. He strutted around like a pro (albeit there was a slight mishap when my friend Felicia handled him during the breed and he managed to slip out of his lead and was dubbed the "runaway boy" by the lovely judge, lol) and went Best of Breed twice! Juno on the other hand, while still barking at the top of her lungs at least managed to walk pretty steadily and went Reserve BOB twice.
Was very happy with the two of them on the table, though. Both stood really nicely, tails wagging, and gave the judges some licks. Super puppies! Such a far cry from Lyra, who hates strangers and used to try to avoid having the judges go over her.
Here are some pictures from the shows that day (mostly of Monroe, because my friend who was helping me take pictures didn't have time to take them during the breed judging).
This Sunday (18th Jan) we'll be having the first shows of the year, and I'm going to show these two puppies again! They've now grown more coat; especially Juno... she's becoming quite hairy, really. So, wish us luck... hope the group winners this time won't be puppies again (the last time, a puppy Toy Poodle went Best in Group twice) so that Monroe will at least have a shot for puppy in group!
This is where I update news on shows that any of my dogs are entered in, or shows at which I'm just a spectator.
