Niffler (Canadian Champion Tantezampe Niffler) was bred by Marina Cornaglia and her mom, Anna Valle of the Tantezampe kennel in Italy. She was whelped on 5th September 2020. I'd always admired Niffler's mom, Multi Ch. Nightfire's Top Secret (bred by Yvonne Weber of Nightfire's in Germany), a daughter of one of my favourite Papillons of all time, Multi Ch. Unas vom Schwabenhof (bred by Yvonne's mom, Marlies Weber). Both are fabulous movers with great type, what more can one ask for? Niffler's sire, Mario, Multi Ch. Mi'DiLiva's A Thousand Years (owned by Yvonne) was bred by Mia Aagaard-Matthiesen in Denmark has been doing really well in the rings in Europe, including having 2 UK CCs under his belt. Mario's sire, Multi Ch. Gleniren Santediego Sunshoo was bred by the famous partnership of Gleniren and Sunshoo in the UK, and his mom, Multi Ch. Nightfire's Expect the Best was also bred by Yvonne. Needless to say, I couldn't pass up on such a fantastic pedigree and I'm really grateful to Marina for generously letting Niffler be a Canadian girl.

In only her first few shows in Canada, Niffler gained 7 points towards her championship, winning over specials, and she finished her championship in summer 2022.
